Art Against War. The Role of the Opposition in Exile in the Revolution in Portugal. Putin’s Absurd.
You are watching the news from the weekly rally at the Russian Embassy in Lisbon. Today is February 22, 2:30 PM.
So, the world is rolling to hell! But… there’s a lack of interesting news. So, while the Earth cracks at the seams like an old pot on the stove, here’s something hot—like fresh sardines on the grill—from our association.
On Monday, February 24, from 5 to 10 PM, we are hosting a charity exhibition “NET VOYNE” at Padaria do Povo, R. Luís Derouet 20A, and we invite everyone to join. More than 300 people have already shown interest on social media. Entry is free, but you won’t leave empty-handed. We’ve prepared works of art and small, beautiful pieces that you’ll want to take home in exchange for donations for portable power stations for hospitals and schools in Ukraine. We’re organizing this exhibition entirely on our own and at our own expense, with the support of those who donated their art and helped in other ways. That’s why the event will last only one day. But don’t worry—the exhibition will continue online, and you can support the fundraiser from home.

www.facebook.com/events/664624656518180/ Victor is generously offering this lecture for free. The Anti-War Committee is covering the cost of the simultaneous translation, making this event both free and charitable. However, we still need to cover the venue rent. Donations over €200 will go in full to the Energy for Life fundraiser, supporting the purchase of portable power stations for hospitals and schools in Ukraine. We are waiting for you!

This week, we completed and published the final 4 of 6 stories in the Absurd Faces series. These videos are available in Russian, English, and Portuguese. The project highlights the absurd accusations made by Putin’s regime against those who dare to dissent.
This time, we told the stories of:
Sergey Tsygipa, a Ukrainian who helped the elderly.
Nina Slobodchikova, a programmer who donated to a Ukrainian blogger.Elena Rodina, a lawyer who spoke out against the war on social media.
Nikita Uvarov, a schoolboy interested in anarchism.Yuri Kokhovets, who simply answered truthfully in a street survey.
Arseniy Turbin, a schoolboy who placed leaflets in mailboxes reading “Do you need this president?”Watch and share these stories!
